About the Role

Reza Investment Company is seeking a Laundry Specialist to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time role involves providing hands-on technical support for commercial and industrial laundry operations, ensuring the effective and consistent performance of laundry equipment, chemical dosing systems, wash programmes, and application processes. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct technical support for industrial laundry equipment, dosing systems, and related applications to ensure reliable operations.
Inspect and troubleshoot technical issues affecting tunnel washers, washer extractors, dosing equipment, pumps, and controllers, escalating complex cases as needed.
Check chemical dosing systems, including pumps, tubes, calibration, and settings, to ensure accurate and consistent chemical application.
Support the implementation and adjustment of approved wash programmes and machine settings based on laundry application requirements.
Assist with the installation, setup, testing, and commissioning of laundry dosing equipment and technical systems at customer sites.
Conduct scheduled technical inspections and preventive checks on laundry application equipment and dosing systems to minimize downtime.
Perform minor technical interventions and coordinate with Engineering / Technical Services for major repairs or complex maintenance.
Support the Laundry Application Expert with titration, water checks, chemical application verification, and wash-cycle testing.
Monitor equipment and dosing performance to maintain wash quality, manage chemical consumption, and ensure operational efficiency.
Visit customer laundry facilities to investigate technical complaints, troubleshoot operational problems, and restore system performance.
Respond to customer technical service requests, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and confirm system functionality.
Identify required spare parts and technical materials, coordinating their availability and replacement with internal teams.
Provide practical guidance to customer operators on equipment operation, dosing system use, routine checks, chemical handling, and basic troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate service records, inspection checklists, technical reports, and documentation of corrective actions and site visits.
Adhere to all health, safety, chemical handling, PPE, equipment isolation, and customer-site procedures during technical activities.

Required Skills and Expertise

Practical technical knowledge of industrial laundry equipment, chemical dosing systems, and their applications.
Proficiency in technical troubleshooting, equipment inspection, and resolution of operational issues.
Ability to apply systematic problem-solving to diagnose and resolve routine and moderately complex technical issues.
Understanding of safety procedures, including chemical handling and equipment isolation.
Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams, and for maintaining accurate technical records.

Influence: Interacts effectively with customer operators, Laundry Operations, Engineering / Technical Services, Sales, and other colleagues. Provides practical technical guidance and communicates technical issues clearly to relevant stakeholders.
Complexity: Performs a range of defined technical activities involving industrial laundry equipment, chemical dosing systems, machine settings, wash programmes, installations, inspections, and troubleshooting.

Work Environment and Reporting

This is primarily a field-based role, requiring regular technical visits to customer laundry facilities. The schedule is full-time, with flexibility to respond to customer technical requirements, equipment issues, installations, and planned inspections. The role involves hands-on work around industrial laundry equipment, chemical dosing systems, pumps, controllers, and active laundry production environments. It may require standing for extended periods, accessing equipment areas, handling technical tools, and working with chemicals in accordance with approved PPE and safety procedures. The Laundry Specialist reports to the Laundry Manager / Technical Services Manager and receives technical guidance from the Laundry Application Expert. Key internal relationships include Laundry Operations, Engineering / Technical Services, Sales, Supply Chain, and Warehouse, while external interactions are primarily with laundry customers and their operational/maintenance teams.
