About the Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Piping Engineer with specialized experience in fire protection systems for a full-time position in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This role involves comprehensive piping design and field engineering responsibilities, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze piping layouts, isometrics, P&IDs, stress analysis reports, valve lists, and material specifications.
• Design and review firewater piping networks, including hydrants, monitors, deluge systems, and sprinkler networks, in accordance with SAES-B-017, NFPA 13/15/24, and other relevant standards.
• Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs), material requisitions, and conduct technical evaluations for valves, piping materials, and fire protection systems.
• Provide technical support during construction phases, including hydrotesting, tie-ins, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation.
• Resolve site issues by responding to Technical Queries (TQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and modification requests.
• Participate in HAZOP studies, 3D model reviews, and safety sessions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 7 to 12 years of piping engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience in fire system design is essential.

Technical Knowledge Requirements

Candidates must possess strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES-B), ASME **, NFPA fire standards, and be familiar with Aramco's engineering workflows and procedures. This expertise is critical for successful project execution and compliance.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The role requires active engagement with project sites and engineering teams.
