About the Role

Auxo Talent is seeking a Telecom Core Network Project Manager for a contract position in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This role is responsible for the comprehensive delivery of compact and virtualized core network solutions, including LTE/5G core-in-a-box and cloud-native core platforms. The position requires a focus on deploying, integrating, and optimizing core network functions for various enterprise and private network scenarios.

Project Delivery and Management

The Telecom Core Network Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end execution of complex telecom core projects. This includes defining project scope, establishing timelines, managing budgets, planning resources, and tracking delivery milestones. The role ensures successful project completion from the initial planning and design phases through integration, testing, commissioning, and final operational handover, while maintaining strict adherence to technical, security, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete delivery lifecycle of compact and virtualized core network projects.
• Manage the deployment of core network solutions, including Evolved Packet Core (EPC), 5G Core (5GC) network functions, and private LTE/5G networks.
• Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams, including core network engineers, RAN engineers, IT/cloud specialists, and system integrators.
• Oversee the integration of core network systems with Radio Access Network (RAN), transport and backhaul networks, and OSS/BSS platforms.
• Ensure installation, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning activities are performed effectively.
• Maintain compliance with telecom standards, cybersecurity policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and interdependencies.
• Manage relationships with vendors, OEMs, system integrators, and third-party partners.
• Track project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders and customers.
• Ensure project delivery meets customer expectations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. The role requires 5-10 years of proven experience in telecom project management, with a specific emphasis on core network deployments. A solid understanding of LTE and 5G core network architecture, including virtualization and cloud-native technologies, is essential. Experience with NFV, containerized network functions, and cloud orchestration environments is also required. A project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is preferred.

Work Context
