About the Role

Albustan Company is seeking a Truck Driver to join its transport and distribution team. This full-time role is based in Khamis Mushayt, Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and involves the safe and timely transportation of company products. The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to strict safety and discipline standards during all driving operations.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient and secure transport of company products between warehouses, branches, and customers. The Truck Driver plays a critical part in the supply chain, ensuring that goods are delivered according to approved plans and schedules while maintaining product integrity and vehicle safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive heavy trucks to transport company products to designated branches, warehouses, and customers in line with distribution plans.
• Adhere to trip schedules and plans, ensuring timely delivery of all shipments.
• Ensure safe loading, proper arrangement, and secure fastening of goods before each trip.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the truck to confirm readiness and safety.
• Report any malfunctions, technical observations, or vehicle-related problems immediately.
• Comply with all traffic regulations, specified speed limits, and safety instructions while driving.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general appearance of the truck.
• Ensure the safety and preservation of products and goods during transport until delivery.
• Review shipping and delivery documents, verifying quantities and data conformity.
• Deliver and receive goods according to approved procedures and document all delivery operations.
• Coordinate with warehouses, branches, and customers regarding loading and delivery times.
• Interact professionally with customers during delivery and receipt processes.
• Follow specified routes and operational instructions issued by the direct supervisor.
• Report all trips, including any delays, incidents, or problems encountered during transport.
• Adhere to company policies and occupational safety, health, and security procedures.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of company documents and shipments.
• Perform other transport and distribution-related tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must possess a valid Saudi heavy vehicle driving license.
• Previous experience in driving heavy trucks is required, preferably within the transport and distribution sector.
• Demonstrated commitment, discipline, and adherence to deadlines.
• Strict adherence to safety instructions and the use of required safety equipment.
• Experience in transporting food or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products is preferred.
• Nationality: Saudi.

This position is based in Khamis Mushayt, within the Al Khobar, Eastern region of Saudi Arabia.
