About the Role

Almarai Company, a leading vertically integrated dairy and food and beverage manufacturing company in the MENA region, is seeking a Senior Planning Officer (Transport & Logistics) to join its team in Al-Kharj. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in a similar environment.

Role Overview

The Senior Planning Officer will be responsible for ensuring all resources are aligned and available for Transport and Warehousing Operations. This role involves planning, running, and monitoring various systems including SAP Maintenance, SAP Fury, YMS, SAP TM, and TMS Planning Scheduler to optimize logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage operations within YMS, SAP TM, SAP Fiori, and TMS planning systems.
  • Monitor and update reefer plans on a daily basis.
  • Track daily warehouse movements and plan necessary additional material transfers.
  • Coordinate resources with Production, Transport, and Yard teams, including the planning of backloads and de-stuffing activities.
  • Liaise daily with Inventory, Warehouse, Depot Logistics, and Supply Planning teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma qualification in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar logistics planning environment.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent reporting abilities.
  • Fluent in English.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Al-Kharj. The role is integral to the efficient functioning of Almarai Company's extensive logistics network.
