About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking an Assistant Technician, Mechanical Maintenance to join our team in Dammam. This full-time position is integral to supporting the mechanical management's objectives for equipment upkeep and operational efficiency. The role focuses on ensuring the optimal performance of mechanical systems while strictly adhering to safety protocols to enhance overall plant productivity.

Role Contribution

The Assistant Technician will play a direct part in the maintenance and operational wellness of equipment within the rolling mill. This involves applying practical mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to address issues, collaborating with senior technicians on maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. A key aspect of this role is contributing to a safe working environment and maintaining clear communication regarding maintenance activities.

Core Mechanical Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting practices specifically within the rolling mill environment.
• Collaborate effectively with senior mechanical technicians on the implementation of general maintenance work orders.
• Understand and execute maintenance plans to ensure timely completion and quality implementation of tasks.
• Perform essential mill maintenance fittings work as required.
• Report on relevant activities and the current status of assigned maintenance tasks.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) Compliance

• Ensure safety aspects are maintained within the workplace, concerning tools, facilities, and among personnel.
• Understand and strictly follow all organizational Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) policies.
• Maintain familiarity with all safety instructions pertinent to job functions.
• Keep provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) in good, workable condition.
• Report any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions promptly to the responsible personnel.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
