The company serves a diverse client base across the Gulf region, including manufacturing, retail, and industrial sectors. As Nuraak Gulf scales its air, sea, and road freight operations, it is expanding its sales team to drive new business acquisition.

The Role: Business Development Executive

We are seeking a Business Development Executive Freight Forwarding & Transportation to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This is a full-time, new business development role focused on generating and closing new contracts, rather than account management. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and owning a sales pipeline across sea freight, air freight, and domestic road transportation, targeting importers, exporters, and companies requiring transportation services within the Saudi industry. This role involves close collaboration with internal pricing and operations teams, who handle quoting and execution, allowing the Executive to focus on client engagement and deal closure.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach companies requiring freight forwarding (air & sea) or domestic transportation services.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline of qualified leads across both freight forwarding and transport sectors.
• Meet with prospective clients to understand their shipping and transport needs and present Nuraak Gulf's services.
• Collaborate with pricing coordinators to ensure competitive quotes are provided promptly to prospects.
• Negotiate and close transportation and freight forwarding contracts.
• Consistently meet or exceed established monthly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and client records within the CRM system.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat and referral business.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of proven experience in generating new business within the air freight, sea freight, and/or road transportation sectors. The ideal candidate will also meet the following requirements:

• Existing network of contacts, including importers, exporters, manufacturers, and traders, is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Good understanding of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and the logistics/customs landscape within Saudi Arabia.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with monthly sales performance accountability.
• A valid Saudi driving license is preferred.

Compensation and Employment Details

This full-time position offers a base salary ranging from SAR 5,500 to SAR 8,000 per month, which will be determined based on experience. In addition to the base salary, a commission of 2% of profit on all closed business will be provided. Monthly sales targets are applicable to this role.
