Qualification Engineer

About the Role

Talents First - Executive Search & Selection is recruiting a Qualification Engineer on behalf of a major international industrial group. This full-time role is based in Dammam, Eastern region, and involves supporting the development, testing, and qualification of engineered products and systems. The successful candidate will ensure products meet stringent safety, performance, reliability, and regulatory standards within an international industrial engineering environment.

Role Context and Reporting

Reporting to the Head of Product Development, the Qualification Engineer will coordinate testing and validation activities across various engineering programs. This involves close collaboration with design, manufacturing, quality, and compliance teams. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to product development, testing infrastructure, and qualification processes as the client expands its presence in Saudi Arabia through a strategic industrial partnership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement testing and qualification plans, protocols, and acceptance criteria for mechanical, electrical, environmental, and system-level testing.
• Coordinate laboratory and field-testing activities, including test preparation, instrumentation, data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure product testing complies with applicable international and Saudi regulatory standards such as IEC, EN 81, ISO 8100, ASME, SASO, and SBC requirements.
• Maintain traceability between product specifications, testing procedures, and qualification results, supporting root cause investigations and corrective improvements.
• Support the development and improvement of testing facilities, equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, test automation, and laboratory safety procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering teams to establish validation requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Oversee the activities of junior engineers and technicians, coordinate with external laboratories and certification bodies, and support testing audits.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work across laboratory, manufacturing, and field environments.

Work Environment and Travel

This role requires working in diverse environments including laboratory, manufacturing, and field settings. Occasional travel of up to 15% may be required. The salary for this position is not disclosed.
