About Logitera and the Role

Logitera is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading the technical development of a comprehensive ERP System, a multi-tenant platform designed to manage various business functions.

System Development Leadership

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle of an ERP platform that encompasses Procurement, Accounting, Human Resources (HRM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Service Operations, and third-party API integrations. This includes ensuring high standards of technical quality, performance, scalability, and functional accuracy across all modules.

Core Development Responsibilities

• Design and build complete features across the stack, including database schema, migrations, server API endpoints, and Vue user interfaces.
• Write and optimize SQL, including database views, and diagnose slow queries to enhance system efficiency.
• Maintain and extend the role-based permission system, implementing per-permission levels for read, edit, delete, and post, enforced both client-side and server-side.

Data Integrity and System Architecture

• Design and review changes to a database comprising approximately 250 tables, 79 views, and 89 migrations, ensuring correctness and backward compatibility.
• Safeguard multi-tenant data isolation, ensuring every query is correctly scoped by tenant, company, and branch to prevent unauthorized data access between customers.

Release Management and Technical Documentation

• Prepare release candidates, which involves building, testing, documenting changes, and outlining any required database steps, for handover to the Managing Director for deployment.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including setup steps, migration notes, and known issues.
• Replace remaining third-party service dependencies (email, SMS, queuing, document storage) as part of the migration from cloud hosting to on-premise infrastructure.

Mentorship and Feature Ownership

The Senior Software Developer will hold end-to-end ownership of feature delivery, covering solution design, development, testing, documentation, and release preparation. Additionally, this role includes reviewing the work of Junior Developers, providing explanations for corrections, and progressively transferring ownership of modules to foster their growth.
