About the Accountant Role

Al-Rashed Group is seeking an Accountant to manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records. This full-time position is based in Dammam and requires 2-5 years of experience. The role is integral to supporting the company's overall financial operations, with a specific emphasis on accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections within a sales-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate general ledger entries.
• Preparing and issuing customer invoices, and following up on collections and outstanding receivables.
• Reconciling sales transactions, customer accounts, and bank statements.
• Managing accounts payable, including supplier invoices and payments.
• Processing and verifying expense claims, petty cash, and employee reimbursements.
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Supporting VAT calculation, filing, and ensuring compliance with ZATCA requirements.
• Assisting with audits by providing necessary documents and reconciliations.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience, with a preference for experience in a sales or trading company.
• Knowledge of VAT and ZATCA regulations in Saudi Arabia.
• A professional certification such as SOCPA, CMA, or being part-qualified is considered an advantage.
