About the Business Development Leader Role

Flow Progressive Logistics is seeking a strategic and motivated Business Development Leader to join its Commercial team. This full-time position, based in Dammam, Eastern Province, is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and cultivating enduring client relationships through effective team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic growth plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new markets, sectors, and high-potential clients.
  • Lead prospecting initiatives and drive qualified lead generation.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key clients and stakeholders, building and maintaining strong, long-term business relationships.
  • Understand client needs to deliver tailored solutions and drive revenue through new client acquisition and existing account expansion.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and performance data to support pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
  • Lead, mentor, and support Business Development Executives, setting targets, monitoring performance, and providing coaching to foster a client-focused culture.
  • Oversee the development of proposals, RFP responses, and presentations, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure commercial proposal feasibility and profitability, and share market insights for service improvements.
  • Track pipeline, sales activities, and client interactions using CRM tools, providing reports and forecasts to senior management, and analyzing KPIs to enhance execution.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in business development or sales.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Mandatory experience in the logistics field.
  • Strong background in B2B environments.
  • Expertise in sales strategy, negotiation, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Candidates must be based in Dammam.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position located in Dammam, Eastern Province. The role involves leading a business development team and collaborating across various internal departments.
