Matar Holding Company is seeking a dedicated and precise individual to join our team as a Cashier. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, and is crucial for maintaining efficient financial operations within the company.

The Role of a Cashier

The Cashier is responsible for accurately and efficiently managing all cash transactions. This role involves handling various customer payments, meticulously maintaining daily cash records, and reconciling cash balances. The ideal candidate will also provide professional customer service while ensuring strict compliance with company financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive payments from customers, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other accepted methods.
• Issue accurate receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations for all transactions.
• Maintain precise records of all cash transactions throughout the shift.
• Reconcile the cash drawer at both the beginning and end of each working shift.
• Deposit cash collections in accordance with established company procedures.
• Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the Finance Department.
• Process refunds, exchanges, and resolve payment discrepancies according to company policies.
• Ensure the cash counter area remains organized, clean, and secure at all times.
• Assist customers with payment-related inquiries in a professional and helpful manner.
• Coordinate effectively with the Finance and Accounts team regarding daily collections and reporting.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial information handled.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and internal controls relevant to cash handling.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a cashier or similar role.
• Demonstrated reliability and a strong attention to detail in handling financial transactions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role requires consistent presence and engagement within the company's operational environment.
