About the Opportunity

Baker Hughes is seeking a Control Field Service Engineer to join our Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) Team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time role involves managing critical site activities and providing essential technical support to ensure continuous operations and compliance with contractual requirements.

The Industrial and Energy Technology Team

Our IET team operates across 120 countries, serving the entire energy value chain and industrial sector. We manage an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology, and lifecycle services. The Engineering Transformation team within IET focuses on improving the quality of our engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with contractual requirements, collaborating closely with Baker Hughes Project and Service managers.
• Lead and execute loop checks and commissioning phases, including functional tests.
• Lead and execute unit start-up and performance tests, ensuring safe machine operation by evaluating running parameters and troubleshooting control system issues.
• Prepare field service jobs and interventions in conjunction with project managers.
• Generate accurate professional reports and serve as the primary technical contact between customers and the Baker Hughes Engineering team, interfacing with all relevant functions.
• Utilize company e-tools for retrieving technical documents and managing packing lists, bills of material, and drawings.
• Ensure all in-field activities adhere to company Environmental Health & Safety (HSE) guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a control field service engineering capacity. A strong technical background in rotating equipment, process flow, and control systems is essential for managing complex site operations and troubleshooting effectively.

Work Environment and Culture

This role involves working at customer on-site locations. Upon completion of assignments, rest periods will be provided, allowing for remote work from home before commencing new projects. Baker Hughes is committed to ensuring a healthy work-life balance for its employees.
