About the Role

Business Tribune Global Company is seeking an Indoor Sales Engineer to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience, focusing on technical and commercial proposal management within an industrial sales environment.

Role Overview

The Indoor Sales Engineer plays a critical role in managing the entire sales cycle from inquiry to purchase order. This involves detailed analysis of client requirements, strategic coordination with OEMs and suppliers, and the meticulous preparation and submission of competitive technical and commercial proposals.

Core Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and conduct thorough analysis of incoming Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs) from end-users and EPC contractors.
• Evaluate technical specifications, data sheets, Bill of Materials (BOM), and commercial terms to assess bid feasibility and requirements.
• Identify and communicate technical clarifications to client engineering or procurement teams promptly.
• Serve as the primary technical and commercial liaison with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), global sourcing partners, and aftermarket suppliers.
• Negotiate with OEMs to secure competitive pricing, optimal delivery lead times, and essential technical documentation (*, certificates of origin, test reports, compliance data).
• Assess multiple vendor offers to select the most cost-effective and technically compliant solutions for clients.
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate commercial and technical proposals aligned with client specifications.
• Structure pricing, calculate landed costs, customs, and shipping, applying strategic markups to ensure competitive bids and company profitability.
• Ensure all proposals adhere to client formatting guidelines and technical compliance standards before submission deadlines.
• Manage and submit bids through official client procurement portals (*, Etimad, SEC portal, SWA vendor management systems).
• Proactively track submitted offers, engage with procurement officers and technical evaluation committees, and address objections to gauge bid standing.
• Lead post-tender clarifications, coordinate technical re-submittals if required, and negotiate final commercial terms.
• Drive opportunities through evaluation phases to secure Purchase Order (PO) awards.
• Hand over confirmed POs to order processing and logistics teams for seamless fulfillment.

Required Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in an indoor sales or technical sales support role, preferably within an industrial or engineering sector.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical specifications and commercial terms from RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills for effective liaison with clients, OEMs, and suppliers.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals, including pricing and cost calculations.
• Experience with online bidding systems and procurement portals is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple bids concurrently and drive opportunities to closure.

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a dynamic sales environment, requiring close collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
