Manufacturing Specialist Material Plan & Execution

About the Role

LanceSoft Middle East is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist 1 - Material Plan & Execution for a contract position in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for the planning and scheduling of materials essential for business operations, working across various teams to translate demand into physical orders and ensure timely delivery to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional sales and operations to develop regional (12-18 month) and global forecasts.
• Convert demand plans into physical orders, understanding business trends and their impact on forecasts.
• Analyze incoming demand, identify order exceptions, address misalignments with product rationalization strategy, and identify opportunities to utilize existing inventory.
• Plan and schedule order timelines to align with customer requirements while optimizing inventory and shipping costs.
• Work with Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize delivery dates as needed (push-outs, pull-ins).
• Perform various material management analyses, including statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged purchase orders, in-transit material analysis, and safety stock.
• Implement inventory stocking strategies and monitor levels of safety stock, global, and aging inventory, collaborating with regions and manufacturing plants to address issues.
• Ensure spare parts and asset demands are captured with the AMO organization.
• Ensure new assets, repaired assets, and spares are integrated into the Sales & Operations Planning process.
• Assist in executing continuous improvement projects to maximize value.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the following attributes:

• Experience in a high-mix, make-to-order manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to identify risks early and proactively escalate issues impacting On-Time Shipment (OTS).
• Strong understanding of lead time drivers and material criticality.
• Experience working closely with procurement, production, quality, and engineering teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing demands without constant supervision.
• Demonstrated ownership in following up on Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and shortages until closure.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operations environment.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Willingness to support operational needs during urgent or critical situations.
• Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in process optimization and planning enhancements.
• Professional communication and stakeholder management skills.
