About the Role

Crown Holdings is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role focuses on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility. The primary objective is to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of production machinery, thereby minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the operational integrity of our production environment. This involves a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and a responsive capability for addressing mechanical malfunctions. The technician will work to uphold safety standards and contribute to overall equipment effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on various mechanical equipment, including presses, conveyors, motors, pumps, and other production machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical malfunctions and troubleshoot issues effectively using blueprints, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of defective parts, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control.
• Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and resolve recurring issues.
• Provide support for emergency breakdowns and respond promptly to critical equipment failures.
