About the Role

Edison Smart is seeking a Senior OT Cybersecurity Deployment Engineer to join its professional services team in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves deploying a leading OT cybersecurity platform within critical infrastructure environments across the region, including power generation, utilities, oil & gas, and manufacturing sectors.

Role Overview

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with customers to enhance the security and visibility of their operational technology environments. You will be instrumental in deploying and configuring an enterprise OT cybersecurity platform, addressing complex technical challenges, and collaborating with industry specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and implementation of an enterprise OT cybersecurity platform within customer environments.
• Collaborate with customer engineering and IT/OT teams on deployment strategies, sensor placement, network visibility, and system integrations.
• Configure, optimize, and fine-tune the platform to maximize operational visibility and security outcomes.
• Develop customer-specific use cases, detection content, and operational workflows.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and availability, and continuously improve system effectiveness.
• Perform upgrades, maintenance, configuration changes, and ongoing optimization.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide advanced support during and after deployment.
• Deliver technical workshops, knowledge transfer sessions, and administrator training to customer teams.
• Partner with internal technical specialists to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Gather customer feedback to contribute to future product improvements.
• Identify opportunities to expand customer adoption of additional cybersecurity solutions and services.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Automation, or Industrial Networking.
• Previous cybersecurity experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking, TCP/IP and the OSI Model, Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture, and industrial communication protocols.
• Experience with Linux administration and command-line environments.
• Exposure to Docker, containerized applications, or virtualised environments.
• Scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience working with SIEM or security monitoring platforms is advantageous.
• Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, on-premise deployments, and cloud technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple customer projects and engage with both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, consulting, and customer-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel across the region as required.
