Senior Technician Instrument

About the Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a Senior Technician, Instrument to join their team in Dammam. This full-time role involves performing essential calibration, troubleshooting, and routine checks of various instruments, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety regulations. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and execute job plan activities as instructed by the Foreman/Supervisor.
• Perform calibration of critical field instruments and provide detailed calibration data.
• Troubleshoot field process instrumentation, including transmitters and pneumatic valves.
• Report any abnormalities observed during breakdown, preventive maintenance, or calibration tasks to the Foreman/Supervisor.
• Conduct routine checks of belt weigh systems and weigh feeders.
• Verify the availability and operational health of specialized tools and equipment.
• Maintain close coordination with the Process and other relevant departments.
• Conduct required training for subordinates, including Foremen and Technicians.

Safety and Compliance

• Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Understand and adhere to organizational Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) policies.
• Follow all safety instructions pertinent to job tasks.
• Report damaged Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), unsafe machines, or equipment to the appropriate staff.
• Ensure provided PPEs are kept in good and workable condition.
• Avoid any horseplay and misuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
• Report all accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to responsible personnel.
• Attend all planned safety training sessions.
• Exercise the right to refuse any unsafe work.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant technical field, demonstrating proficiency in instrument calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance. A strong understanding of safety regulations and operational procedures is essential for this role.

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, requiring active participation in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The role involves coordination with various departments and adherence to strict safety protocols.
