About the Senior Welder Role

Al Tuwairqi Group is seeking a Senior Welder to join their team in Dammam. This full-time position requires a skilled professional with a strong background in fabrication and welding processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, or repair metal parts and other weldable materials.
• Interpret and work from engineering sketches, charts, or work orders.
• Position pieces for welding using measuring instruments and hand tools, utilizing jigs, holding fixtures, and guides.
• Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced welders.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E)

Adherence to safety protocols is paramount. This includes:

• Using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for each task.
• Understanding and following organizational HS&E policies and job-related safety instructions.
• Reporting damaged PPE, unsafe machines, or equipment to the relevant staff.
• Maintaining provided PPE in good, workable condition.
• Avoiding horseplay and the abuse of safety devices, equipment, and welfare facilities.
• Reporting any accidents, near misses, or hazardous conditions to responsible parties.
• Attending scheduled safety training sessions.
• Having the right to refuse any unsafe work.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 5 years and up to 10 years of relevant welding and fabrication experience.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques and processes.
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Dammam. The role involves hands-on work in a fabrication and industrial setting, requiring strict adherence to safety regulations.
