About the SR. Merchandiser Role

PepsiCo is seeking a SR. Merchandiser to join our team in Dammam, Eastern region, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on optimizing product visibility and presence in retail outlets. The role is integral to the sales team, ensuring PepsiCo's products are effectively displayed and promoted to maximize market impact.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of the SR. Merchandiser is to maximize PepsiCo's on-shelf presence across all assigned outlets. This includes strict adherence to planograms for both on-shelf and off-shelf displays. The role also involves conducting in-store sampling sessions and promotions as needed, reporting any non-compliance to agreed arrangements, and providing the pre-seller with current market information to identify and capitalize on selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily journey plans by calling on specific OT outlets as directed by the supervisor.
• Merchandise SSFL products within assigned OT stores across various access points, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Place Point of Sale (POS) material appropriately alongside SSFL displays.
• Ensure all product access points are merchandised in strict accordance with approved planograms.
• Implement the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method for product rotation and remove any sub-standard products from displays.
• Maintain a clean and fresh stock of SSF products on the shelf at all times.
• Monitor and report on competitive activities observed in the market.
• Report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned OT customers or outlets.
• Submit daily activity reports for the prior day to the supervisor.
• Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns when required.
• Uphold appropriate personal appearance and professional behavior in line with the Frito Lay code of conduct.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a valid driving license.
• Demonstrated service-level orientation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Performance Metrics

Success in this role will be measured against key performance indicators including:

• Execution Standard adherence.
• LTA enforcement.
• Journey plan adherence.
