About the Technical FACTs/Statcom/HVDC Expert Role

GE Vernova is seeking a Technical FACTs/Statcom/HVDC Expert for a full-time position in Dammam, Eastern region. This role is central to providing comprehensive after-sales support for customer technical issues, which includes managing repairs, offering technical guidance, and delivering on-site services. The successful candidate will possess 5-10 years of experience and will be instrumental in managing and influencing operational budgets and plans, guided by established operational policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1, 2, and 3 technical support to resolve after-sales customer issues.
• Develop and apply deep technical expertise within the function, potentially providing professional leadership and influencing policy implementation.
• Interpret complex internal and external business issues, recommending best practices to enhance products, processes, or services.
• Utilize industry trend analysis to inform and guide decision-making processes.
• Assist colleagues in developing creative solutions for complex manufacturing processes involving diverse technical aspects and interdependent production cycles.
• Interact with adjacent functions and leverage multiple internal and external resources to resolve problems and support strategic decisions.
• Lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource needs, risks, and complexity, proposing operational or technical solutions to leadership.
• Communicate complex messages effectively and negotiate internally to foster alignment, and potentially with external partners, suppliers, or customers.
• Attract and retain talent, managing medium to large teams.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced experience in the relevant technical function, with 5-10 years of professional experience.
• Knowledge equivalent to a Master's degree from an accredited university, or a Bachelor's degree combined with extensive experience in a relevant field.
