Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

Salehiya Healthcare is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves supervising warehouse staff, including Material Handling Officers, Laborers, and Equipment Operators, to ensure safe, efficient, accurate, and timely warehousing and distribution activities. The supervisor supports inventory handling, storage, dispatch, and material movement, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and safety standards to maintain operational excellence and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, unloading, storage, picking, packing, staging, and dispatch activities, to ensure smooth and timely execution.
• Allocate and monitor daily tasks for Material Handling Officers, Laborers, and Equipment Operators to ensure productivity and operational efficiency.
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with approved SOPs, QMS requirements, GDP practices, and company safety regulations.
• Monitor loading and unloading activities to ensure accuracy, proper material handling, and timely completion of deliveries.
• Oversee inventory movement and storage activities to maintain inventory accuracy, stock integrity, and optimal space utilization.
• Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and investigation of inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and forklift operations to ensure safe utilization and operational readiness, reporting maintenance requirements as needed.
• Ensure Equipment Operators adhere to safety procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments and transportation teams to support efficient order fulfillment and customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support corrective actions to improve service levels, productivity, and warehouse performance.
• Supervise workforce attendance, shift allocation, leave scheduling, and manpower utilization to ensure adequate operational coverage.
• Provide on-job coaching and guidance to warehouse staff to enhance operational knowledge, compliance, and performance.
• Maintain effective communication with the Warehouse Manager regarding operational updates, issues, manpower concerns, and improvement opportunities.
• Report operational incidents, safety concerns, damaged materials, and equipment issues in a timely manner, and support corrective actions.
• Support onboarding and SOP training activities for new warehouse employees to ensure proper understanding of operational and safety requirements.
• Ensure temperature monitoring records, calibration activities, and warehouse documentation are properly maintained when applicable.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations and supervision.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The role involves supervising a team of Material Handling Officers, Laborers, and Equipment Operators in a dynamic warehouse setting.
