The Opportunity: Safety Officer

We are looking for a dedicated Safety Officer to ensure the rigorous implementation and monitoring of occupational safety and health standards. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is an excellent opportunity for an individual with 0-1 years of experience who is committed to promoting and enforcing workplace safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and continuously monitor occupational safety and health procedures and policies at various work sites.
• Conduct regular inspection tours to identify potential hazards, report findings, and ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions.
• Verify and enforce workers' compliance with the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety requirements.
• Assist in the investigation of workplace incidents and accidents, preparing detailed safety reports.
• Participate actively in the development and delivery of safety awareness and training programs for employees.
• Maintain and update all safety records and reports accurately and systematically.
• Collaborate effectively with various departments to ensure comprehensive adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Undertake any other safety-related tasks as directed by the immediate manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or a related engineering specialization.
• Possession of a NEBOSH certificate is mandatory.
• Familiarity with occupational safety and health regulations and laws specific to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.

Experience Level

This role requires 0-1 years of relevant experience, making it suitable for recent graduates or individuals at the early stages of their career in safety management.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team environment, contributing directly to the safety culture and operational integrity of Raissy Trading and Contracting Company.
