Riyadah Solutions, a rapidly expanding mobility and car-rental technology company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Chief Accountant. This full-time role is critical for establishing and managing the company's entire finance function from the ground up. The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience and be prepared to operate as the sole finance professional, reporting directly to leadership.

Role Summary

As the founding Chief Accountant, this position requires a highly self-sufficient and analytical professional to build and oversee all financial operations. You will be responsible for setting up accounting systems, ensuring compliance, and developing financial models that inform strategic business decisions. This is a hands-on opportunity to own the finance function end-to-end within a growing technology company.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the complete accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, month-end close, and financial reporting, from scratch.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi regulations, encompassing ZATCA (VAT, e-invoicing/Fatoorah, Zakat, and corporate tax), GOSI, and WPS payroll, with direct personal management.
• Develop and maintain financial models, budgeting, forecasting, and burn-rate tracking to guide business strategy.
• Manage cash flow and provide reporting to ensure effective runway control.
• Prepare investor and board reports, and maintain financial records for due diligence processes.
• Implement financial controls, policies, and manage the accounting/ERP system, including e-invoicing setup.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of strong hands-on accounting experience, demonstrating command of accrual accounting and IFRS as adopted in Saudi Arabia.
• Profound practical knowledge of Saudi tax and compliance, including ZATCA VAT and e-invoicing, Zakat, corporate tax, GOSI, and WPS, with experience handling these on government portals.
• Proven financial modelling capability, strong proficiency in Excel, and comfort in building models, running scenarios, and analyzing financial data.
• A commercial and analytical mindset, with curiosity about the underlying reasons for financial figures and a desire to contribute to business direction.
• Highly self-sufficient and organized, capable of managing the entire finance function independently within a founding-team environment.

Preferred Attributes

• Professional qualification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA.
• Experience within a startup or high-growth company, with understanding of cash burn, runway management, and investor reporting.
• Prior involvement in supporting fundraising activities or financial due diligence.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition principles for SaaS, marketplace, or subscription models.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic and fast-paced founding-team environment. The role offers significant autonomy and direct reporting to the company's leadership.
