About Egis and the Tamheer Program

Egis is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, through the Tamheer internship program. This full-time opportunity is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to gain practical civil engineering experience within a professional environment.

Role Overview

The Civil Engineer (Tamheer) will work alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects, contributing to the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering initiatives. This role provides a structured environment to develop technical skills and professional capabilities while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and review of technical drawings, blueprints, and design documents using industry-standard software.
Conduct site inspections and accurately document field observations, measurements, and project progress.
Support senior engineers in analyzing project requirements and developing solutions to engineering challenges.
Participate in the creation and maintenance of project documentation, reports, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Saudi building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Assist in the estimation of project costs, timelines, and resource requirements.
Contribute to the organization and coordination of project meetings and site visits.
Learn and apply civil engineering principles to practical construction and infrastructure projects.
Support the development of construction schedules and project management activities.
Maintain organized records and databases related to project information and technical data.
