Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Zahran Facilities Management is seeking an experienced Project Electrical Engineer to lead the Electrical Operations & Maintenance (O&M) function for a large-scale project. This full-time role involves managing a substantial department of approximately 140 personnel, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a large electrical team, including engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Manage electrical O&M, Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), emergency response, and daily maintenance activities.
• Plan and monitor manpower, maintenance schedules, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), budgets, and overall work performance.
• Oversee various electrical systems, including Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear, transformers, generators, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Main Distribution Boards (MDBs), and Distribution Boards (DBs).
• Manage contractors, vendors, procurement processes, materials, and maintenance resources.
• Ensure strict compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including NEC, NFPA, IEC, IEEE, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines, and Saudi regulations.
• Manage Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) / Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), technical documentation, reports, and maintenance records.
• Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical services within the project.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant electrical Operations & Maintenance (O&M) experience.
• Proven experience in managing large teams, preferably comprising 100 or more personnel.
• Strong experience in large-scale facilities, projects, hospitals, or residential/commercial facilities.
• In-depth knowledge of PPM/CM methodologies, various electrical systems, NFPA, NEC, and safety requirements.
• Saudi or GCC experience is preferred.
