Event Sales Manager

About the Role

Hyatt Regency is seeking an Event Sales Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on driving event and catering sales, building client relationships, and achieving revenue targets within the hospitality sector. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in event sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and event handover.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and key stakeholders.
• Conduct hotel site inspections and client presentations.
• Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets for events and catering sales.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Culinary, and Events teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and event quotations in line with hotel standards.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Attend networking events, trade shows, and sales activities to promote the hotel.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Event Sales, Catering Sales, or Hotel Sales within an international hotel brand.
• Strong understanding of the Riyadh market and hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh and operates on a full-time schedule within the Hyatt Regency team. The Event Sales Manager will work collaboratively with various hotel departments to ensure successful event delivery.
