About the Role

Devoteam is seeking a GIS Data Expert to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on GIS data conversion, cleansing, validation, and quality assurance, specifically for utilities and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in converting as-built drawings and data into structured, accurate, and topologically valid Enterprise GIS datasets.

Role Context and Collaboration

The GIS Data Expert will work closely with GIS teams, technical stakeholders, and clients. This collaboration is essential to ensure the quality, accuracy, connectivity, and integrity of enterprise GIS data. The role also supports various utilities and infrastructure data transformation initiatives, contributing to the overall success of data management projects.

Key Responsibilities

Convert utilities and infrastructure as-built drawings and data into structured GIS datasets.
Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and preparation for Enterprise GIS environments.
Ensure converted datasets comply with defined GIS data models, standards, and specifications.

Data Validation and Quality Assurance

Conduct comprehensive GIS data validation and QA/QC activities.
Identify and resolve spatial, attribute, topology, and connectivity issues within GIS datasets.
Ensure GIS datasets meet defined accuracy, completeness, consistency, and quality requirements.
Validate network connectivity and applicable spatial and topological rules.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of hands-on experience in GIS data conversion, cleansing, validation, and quality assurance. A proven track record in converting utilities and infrastructure as-built drawings and data into structured, accurate, and topologically valid Enterprise GIS datasets is required for this position.
