The Role of Joinery Estimator

Tripod Global is seeking an experienced Joinery Estimator to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a candidate with strong technical knowledge of joinery manufacturing and fit-out projects. The primary objective is to prepare accurate, competitive, and commercially viable cost estimates for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

Review technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material take-offs, and cost estimates for joinery and fit-out projects.
Calculate material, hardware, labor, production, and installation costs.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and project teams.
Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
Support tender submissions and ensure pricing accuracy and profitability.

Qualifications and Experience

4–6 years of proven experience in joinery estimation, preferably within bespoke joinery, luxury retail, or interior fit-out sectors.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical and CAD drawings.
Good knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in Excel and relevant estimating or ERP software.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Relevant technical qualification or equivalent practical experience.
