The Role of Kubernetes Engineer

Exequt is seeking a full-time Kubernetes Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This role involves designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters across both production and non-production environments. The primary objective is to ensure high availability, security, and scalability for containerized workloads within our client projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage Kubernetes resources, including Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, Namespaces, and Persistent Volumes.
• Implement container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker/container runtimes.
• Monitor cluster health, performance, availability, and resource utilization.
• Configure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), network policies, security controls, and secrets management.
• Manage cluster upgrades, patching, scaling, backup, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot application, networking, storage, and cluster-level issues.
• Implement High Availability (HA) and scalability solutions for Kubernetes workloads.
• Integrate Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and DevOps tools.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using tools such as Helm, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Work with cloud Kubernetes platforms including OpenShift, AKS, EKS, or GKE where applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of experience as a hands-on Kubernetes specialist. A strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and operations is required, along with practical experience in container orchestration and management. Familiarity with automation tools and cloud-specific Kubernetes services is essential for success in this role.

Work Setting and Compensation

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The compensation structure for this role is performance-based.
