The Role of a Machine Learning Engineer

Given *****'s rapid growth, we are expanding our machine learning engineering team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on building, deploying, and optimizing the ML models that power our underwriting technology. The Machine Learning Engineer will collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and deliver scalable, efficient, and reliable ML systems. The objective is to ensure models and infrastructure are robust, cost-effective, and capable of supporting rapid product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new ML models from inception to production, delivering measurable business impact on the underwriting tech stack.
• Optimize and enhance existing production ML systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct research to stay current with advancements in machine learning and integrate cutting-edge techniques into products.
• Design experiments, gather data, and rapidly prototype new ideas to evaluate potential impact before full deployment.
• Build and maintain model serving infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance, and efficiently resolve production problems and incidents.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Machine Learning Engineer position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field. This includes a proven track record in developing, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models within production environments.
