Job Overview

Skilled Careers is partnering with a leading General Contractor in Saudi Arabia to recruit an experienced Planner. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is critical for the successful delivery of major hyperscale data centre projects across the Kingdom. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling.

Project Scope

The Planner will join a high-performing team dedicated to executing some of the region's most complex and technically demanding construction projects. The initial focus will be on a significant data centre project located in Riyadh, contributing to the broader development of hyperscale infrastructure within Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
Prepare baseline schedules, recovery programmes, and look-ahead plans to ensure project timelines are met.
Monitor project progress diligently and identify potential programme risks and delays.
Carry out critical path analysis and recommend effective mitigation measures to address identified issues.
Produce comprehensive weekly and monthly progress reports for senior management and the client.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all project milestones are achieved.
Support planning activities throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion.

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience as a Planner with a main contractor, demonstrating 5-10 years of professional experience in the field.
Previous data centre project experience is essential for this role.
Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management.
Experience delivering large-scale construction projects effectively.
Excellent planning, analytical, and communication skills are required.

Location and Employment

This is a full-time employment opportunity. The successful candidate must be willing to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the duration of the projects.
