The Role of Presales Engineer

The Presales Engineer is a full-time position responsible for understanding customer and partner requirements, developing technical strategies, and proposing solutions. This role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field, capable of delivering comprehensive technical support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Identify requirements and business opportunities through customer and partner engagements.
Develop project technology strategies by understanding client objectives, diagnosing requirements, articulating solution risks, recommending project approaches, preparing time and cost estimates, and planning the full project life cycle.
Prepare and deliver business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentations, and conducting proof-of-concept demonstrations when necessary.
Maintain a strong understanding of infrastructure requirements across various industries.
Propose technical solutions and oversee the selection of technologies, including estimating resources required to meet customer specifications.
Complete technical documentation related to projects, training materials, site-references, and other relevant materials.
Collaborate with the Headquarters (HQ) team to gather local requirements and advocate for product feature optimization.
Provide technical recognition, training, and support to partners' technical and presales personnel.
Perform any other assigned ad-hoc duties as required.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Presales Engineer position must possess 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating a proven track record in presales engineering or a similar technical role.
