About the Role

WSP Middle East is seeking an experienced Project Manager - EV Charging & Smart Building Technology to lead the delivery of electric mobility and smart infrastructure projects. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and involves working on major developments, smart cities, transportation programs, airports, mixed-use developments, and sustainable mobility initiatives across the region. The position requires over 10 years of relevant experience.

Project Focus

The Project Manager will oversee projects related to EV charging infrastructure and smart building technology. This includes managing the full project lifecycle from concept through design, construction, testing, and commissioning for innovative solutions in electric mobility and smart environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of EV Charging Infrastructure projects from concept to commissioning.
• Oversee the implementation of AC and DC charging networks, fleet electrification projects, charging hubs, and smart energy solutions.
• Manage the delivery of Smart Building Technology systems, including BMS, IBMS, ICT, ELV, Security Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Smart Lighting, IoT Platforms, and Digital Building Solutions.
• Act as the primary client interface, managing project scope, program, budget, and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across electrical engineering, ICT, digital technology, sustainability, and specialist design disciplines.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, international standards, and WSP quality procedures.
• Support business development activities, client engagement, and proposal preparation within the Smart Mobility and Smart Buildings sector.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within EV charging and smart building technology.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working on projects that contribute to the development of smart infrastructure across the Middle East.
