The Role: Psychotherapist / Psychologist

Spring Health is seeking internationally qualified and licensed Psychotherapists / Psychologists to join its network of care providers. This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on patient outcomes through a technology and AI/machine learning-supported platform. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience, specializing in the care of minors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy to clients through various benefit structures, ranging from short-term, goal-focused Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) to employer-sponsored health plans offering medically necessary sessions.
• Deliver therapy to adults who have completed brief, evidence-based electronic assessments to identify symptoms and areas of concern.
• Be open to treating additional populations such as children, adolescents, couples, or families.
• Maintain an updated calendar of availability and complete session documentation promptly within the scheduling system.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to each client's needs.
• Collaborate with the dedicated provider support team, licensed clinical navigation team, and administrative care support team as needed.
• Provide compassionate and culturally aware care, adhering to values of diversity and inclusion across all races, ethnicities, and gender identities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Appropriate qualifications and licensure (if required) to practice counseling or psychotherapy as a Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Clinical Psychologist, or equivalent in Saudi Arabia. Applicants requiring clinical supervision to practice cannot be accepted.
• Current professional liability insurance at a level consistent with prevailing rates in your accredited jurisdiction (country of licensure).
• A minimum of 3 years of independent clinical experience.
• Qualified and experienced in treating minors aged 6 and above.
• Access to a computer or laptop, comfort with technology, and proficiency in delivering telehealth services.
• Training and experience in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
• Comfortable developing safety plans and intervening in cases where clients may present with elevated risk levels.
• Committed to delivering high-quality clinical care and eager to develop capabilities and effectiveness by reviewing client progress or challenges.
• Enjoys working independently while also benefiting from team support and opportunities to connect and collaborate with other providers and the Master's-level clinical navigation team.

Work Environment and Benefits

This contract position offers flexibility, allowing you to set your own schedule to align with professional and personal needs. You can work from any location, provided you have a private, secure space and a stable internet connection. For those interested in providing in-person sessions to Spring Health members, a dedicated office or practice space in Riyadh is required. Spring Health handles administrative tasks such as practice marketing, insurance eligibility verification, fee collection, and insurance claims, enabling you to focus on clinical care.
