About the Role

Arabian Oud is seeking a dedicated QHSE Supervisor to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to ensuring the highest standards of Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental (HSE) compliance across our factories, warehouses, and workers' accommodations. The Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring and implementing HSE procedures, managing critical safety activities, and overseeing environmental compliance to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the implementation of all Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental (HSE) procedures across factories, warehouses, and workers' accommodations, ensuring compliance with actual site conditions.
• Conduct daily monitoring of the HSE management system across all locations and report non-conformities or deviations to management for timely corrective actions.
• Issue and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) for hazardous activities within factories, ensuring adherence to approved procedures until full closure.
• Ensure all required preventive and safety measures are implemented before, during, and after maintenance activities.
• Review and inspect requests for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety clothing, footwear, first aid supplies, and other safety-related items, ensuring compliance with approved specifications.
• Implement emergency response plans across all facilities and organize periodic emergency response training programs for employees.
• Monitor fire protection systems at all locations and conduct regular fire prevention and emergency response drills.
• Develop, communicate, and document emergency procedures for handling chemical spills and leakages in laboratories, ensuring employees are properly trained and familiar with these procedures.

Environmental Management and Compliance

• Monitor and review water sample analysis results to ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and standards.
• Monitor and identify the environmental aspects and impacts related to raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
• Supervise waste management contracts and oversee the proper disposal of solid, liquid, and general waste in accordance with applicable environmental regulations.
• Follow up on environmental complaints, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure contractors comply with the company's environmental requirements and monitor their adherence to applicable environmental regulations.
• Conduct periodic environmental performance assessments, evaluate environmental objectives, and submit findings and recommendations to the direct manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, with a preferred range of 2-5 years, in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) or Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
• Prior experience within a manufacturing, factory, warehouse, or industrial environment is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the QHSE Supervisor will operate across various company facilities, including factories, warehouses, and workers' accommodations, to ensure comprehensive safety and environmental oversight.
