The Role of Reinsurance Senior Officer

Mutakamela Insurance is seeking a Reinsurance Senior Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed to provide essential administrative and operational support to the Reinsurance team. The officer will contribute to the effective management of treaty and facultative reinsurance activities, including documentation, reconciliations, claims follow-up, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive reinsurance records, registers, and databases.
• Prepare and manage treaty and facultative documents, contracts, and endorsements.
• Follow up on reinsurance claims, recoveries, and outstanding balances.
• Reconcile reinsurance accounts and provide support for quarterly closing processes.
• Coordinate effectively with brokers, reinsurers, and internal Finance and Claims teams.
• Monitor treaty renewals and expiry dates to ensure timely action.
• Prepare various reports, statistics, and presentations as required.
• Ensure proper filing, documentation, and support for regulatory compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in insurance, reinsurance, or finance operations is preferred.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and various reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Reinsurance Senior Officer will operate within a professional and collaborative team environment at Mutakamela Insurance.
