The Role: Roads Engineer

ARX is seeking a Roads Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves the design, planning, and oversight of road and highway infrastructure projects. The role requires ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards, as well as coordinating with various engineering disciplines to integrate road systems seamlessly into overall project designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee the design of roads and highways for various infrastructure projects.
• Perform and review road geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading, pavement design, and other engineering analyses required for road systems.
• Ensure all road designs comply with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to integrate road systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
• Coordinate road levels, corridors, crossings, junctions, and interfaces with other infrastructure disciplines.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation.
• Review designs and technical deliverables prepared by engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD team.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A deep understanding of roads and highway design, including geometric, traffic, grading, intersections, junctions, and pavement design.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in roads engineering.
