About the Role

alfanar is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to configuring, maintaining, developing, and supporting the SAP FI/CO module and its integrated application management. The consultant will play a key role in analyzing business and systems processes, recommending improvements, and driving efficiency and innovation within our solutions and processes. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and manage business processes within SAP S4/HANA FI/CO, specifically covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Assets, Banks, and Controlling components.
• Provide expert guidance on the integration of SAP FI/CO modules with other SAP modules, including Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), and Project Systems (PS).
• Analyze business requirements to identify optimal solutions and recommend appropriate SAP system configurations.
• Assess the functional, technical, and integration impacts of proposed solutions across various business areas and external systems.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications and coordinate closely with the ABAP development team for implementation and testing.

Application Customization and Integration

• Manage the customization of SAP functionalities, which includes reports, smart forms, scripts, programs, BAPIs, and other system enhancements.
• Collaborate effectively with the ABAP team to ensure all customization and development tasks align with defined business requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO modules with SAP MM, SD, PP, and PS to facilitate smooth business operations and consistent data flow.
• Apply a basic understanding of SAP S4/HANA Cash Management, Treasury & Risk Management components to optimize relevant business processes.

Support and Process Improvement

• Provide expert troubleshooting and problem-solving support to end-users, addressing system errors and delivering timely, effective solutions.
• Review current finance and controlling processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for continuous improvement.
• Design, implement, and monitor innovative solutions and best practices to optimize overall system performance.
• Prepare detailed solution design documents and ensure all system changes are thoroughly documented in accordance with organizational change management processes.

• Execute planned activities to meet operational and development targets within established delivery schedules, cost, and time constraints.
• Provide periodic reports detailing any deviations and the execution status of planned tasks.

• Ensure adherence to quality requirements and contribute to the development of effective quality control processes.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, actively seeking automation opportunities.
• Comply with all relevant company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.

Experience

A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant or in a similar relevant role is required for this position.
