The Role of Sales Engineer

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Engineer with specialized experience in landscaping services and a strong technical understanding of irrigation systems. This full-time role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities, providing technical guidance, and managing client relationships within the Riyadh market.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across commercial, residential, and infrastructure landscape projects.
Meet with clients, main contractors, and consultants to understand project requirements, offer value-engineering solutions, and conduct initial site consultations.
Leverage knowledge of products such as booster pumps, filtration, fertigation, water meters, outdoor play, and fitness equipment to align scope requirements with the technical team.
Build and maintain an active database of key decision-makers, including project managers, developers, and procurement leads, across target market segments.
Lead price negotiations and finalize commercial terms within target margin thresholds.

Qualifications and Requirements

3+ years of proven sales or business development experience within the landscaping and irrigation market.
Strong understanding of landscape and technical irrigation systems, including pumping systems, fertigation, and filtration.
Established relationships with general contractors, landscape consultants, project managers, and procurement managers.
Ability to read basic landscape design drawings, irrigation schematics, and project specifications.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
