We are seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role is crucial in shaping the perception of Unifonic by buyers, analysts, media, and the broader market.

The Compliance Function at Unifonic

The Compliance team at Unifonic is responsible for managing and enhancing the company's overall compliance function. Our focus is on addressing all compliance affairs to anticipate potential issues and develop proactive, practical solutions that support the business. The Senior Compliance Specialist will contribute significantly to maintaining regulatory adherence and fostering a robust compliance culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the organization maintains an effective engagement framework with regulatory bodies, such as the CST.
• Collaborate with management and staff to identify and manage regulatory compliance risks.
• Maintain open communication with relevant decision-makers and stakeholders regarding regulatory communication and its impact.
• Organize and conduct regular training sessions for employees on key regulatory changes and updates.
• Support the creation and implementation of organizational policies, standards, and procedures to comply with applicable regulations.
• Research industry compliance regulations and policies.
• Evaluate internal operational and procedural compliance.
• Maintain internal regulatory compliance by communicating requirements, obtaining necessary approvals, and training stakeholders.
• Manage applications for compliance certifications and regulatory approvals.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance recordkeeping system.
• Maintain communication with compliance regulators and follow up on applications.
• Stay informed about evolving compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.
• Identify process roadblocks and propose improvements.
• Maintain a compliance communication register and associated documentation.
• Create and manage action plans in response to regulatory compliance audit discoveries and violations.
• Remediate regulatory audits and periodic reviews, compiling identified gaps and corresponding action plans.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a compliance analyst or specialist within an enterprise-level organization.
• Strong experience in both reviewing and drafting policies and documentation in both Arabic and English.
• Experience with international standards and local regulatory requirements related to telecommunications, data protection, and data localization.
• Higher Education or a Bachelor’s Degree in a Technology or Management field.
• Compliance management or project management certification is considered an asset.
