The Role of Senior Content Writer

BirdEye is seeking a Senior Content Writer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional who combines strong content writing skills with hands-on social media management. The role emphasizes strong writing, creativity, ownership, speed, curiosity, and a growth mindset. Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Write high-quality Arabic content for social media, campaigns, advertisements, product launches, and brand communications.
• Develop creative content ideas and campaigns aligned with BirdEye’s brand and growth objectives.
• Manage BirdEye’s social media accounts and day-to-day online presence.
• Build and manage the social media content calendar.
• Plan, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms.
• Create captions, headlines, scripts, campaign messaging, and short-form content.
• Translate product features and merchant pain points into clear and engaging stories.
• Monitor trends and cultural moments relevant to the Saudi market.
• Manage community engagement, including comments, messages, and brand interactions.
• Maintain a consistent tone of voice across all communication channels.
• Collaborate closely with Growth, Digital Marketing, Design, and Motion teams.
• Prepare clear creative briefs for designers and motion designers.
• Analyze content and social media performance, implementing continuous improvements based on results.
• Develop new content formats to increase reach, engagement, and brand awareness.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in content writing, copywriting, social media management, or related roles.
• Excellent Arabic writing and copywriting skills.
• Demonstrated experience managing brand social media accounts.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi audience, culture, and digital trends.
• Strong storytelling and creative thinking skills.
• Ability to manage both content creation and social media execution effectively.
• Good understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Good English communication skills.
• Experience in technology, SaaS, startups, retail, fintech, or e-commerce is considered an advantage.
