The Opportunity: Senior Financial Analyst

Rize is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves close partnership with the CFO to translate complex financial and portfolio data into clear operating and funding decisions. The analyst will own the financial models, forecasts, and analyses utilized by the executive team, funding partners, board, and investors. This position is suited for an individual who builds from first principles, navigates imperfect data effectively, and communicates commercial and liquidity insights with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, stress-test, and maintain driver-based 3-statement, funding, and scenario models, connecting contract economics, yield, funding cost, credit loss, and servicing cost to cash flow, profitability, and balance-sheet outcomes.
• Manage the analytical and reporting engine for asset-backed and warehouse facilities, including eligibility, borrowing-base availability, advance rates, utilization, covenant headroom, and drawdowns.
• Serve as the primary operational finance liaison for lenders, banks, auditors, and external advisers, handling recurring reporting packages, fulfilling information requests, and maintaining day-to-day working relationships.
• Oversee the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and short-term cash tracking, monitoring working capital and minimum liquidity thresholds to identify funding needs proactively.
• Collaborate with the Risk team to analyze cohorts, vintages, DPD movements, roll rates, and loss trends, translating findings into concrete pricing, credit, and funding recommendations.
• Develop concise, executive-ready presentations for management, the board, and lenders that clearly state decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and propose action steps.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant analytical finance experience in areas such as FP&A, financial modeling, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or investment banking, with demonstrated independent ownership.
• Direct exposure to credit platforms, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) models, or lending operations.
• Direct exposure to lending or receivables-based businesses (*, consumer finance, BNPL, or banking) with hands-on credit economics or funding facility exposure.
• Advanced Excel and modeling mastery, including the ability to build auditable, driver-based models from scratch with clear assumptions, logic, outputs, sensitivities, and built-in error checks.
• Strong cash and commercial judgment, capable of transforming incomplete or complex operational data into defensible financial strategies.

Preferred Skills and Background

• Direct experience with asset-backed or warehouse funding facilities, including borrowing bases, covenant tracking, lender reporting, and drawdown schedules.
• Hands-on experience with cohort, vintage, DPD (Days Past Due), or roll-rate analysis.
• Background in Big Four transaction advisory or consulting, particularly if followed by in-house fintech or lending ownership experience.
• Progress toward professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, SOCPA, ACCA, or practical experience with SQL and BI tools.
