Senior Landscape Architect (Mega Civil Project)

IDOM Consulting, Engineering, Architecture is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join its Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is situated within the Infrastructure Division, focusing on a significant civil project.

Role Context and Project Scope

The position requires specific expertise in Civil Engineering and Transportation projects, particularly those involving roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels within urban environments. The Senior Landscape Architect will be responsible for coordinating all technical aspects related to landscaping, hardscaping, levels, and all finishing works for the areas surrounding the road infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical control for all architectural works and finishes.
• Coordinate with other discipline specialists and quality control personnel.
• Resolve or amplify design issues, coordinating with home office support as needed.
• Offer technical advice on design changes.
• Assess and report technically on any Value Engineering proposals.
• Oversee and coordinate the review of Contractor’s technical submissions and shop drawings.
• Review all Contractor’s relevant drawings, schedules, or materials submittals to ensure compliance with the overall aesthetic and planning objectives of the project's design concepts.
• Coordinate effectively with various Technical Disciplines.
• Function as the primary point of contact between the architectural department and the Technical Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must demonstrate specific expertise in working on Civil Engineering and Transportation projects, particularly those involving urban road infrastructure. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience is required for this senior-level role.
