About the Role

Mace Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Golf Course Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. This full-time role involves providing project management consultancy services for a large luxury mixed-use development. The position requires over 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within golf course or landscape-led developments.

Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager will lead the assured delivery of complex golf course developments. This includes integrating project controls with specialist technical knowledge across various phases such as construction, shaping, drainage, irrigation, agronomy, landscaping, and operational handover. The role focuses on driving safe, sustainable, and high-quality outcomes that align with design intent, playability, programme, budget, and long-term operational requirements.

Possess technical expertise in local health and safety rules and regulations relevant to the project portfolio.

Ensure robust quality systems are in place and managed in line with service excellence.
Manage project delivery from inception through design development, planning, contractor procurement, and construction phase.
Manage tasks and deliverables in support of senior leaders and project teams to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
Manage project budgets, identify risks, challenges, and propose mitigations.
Support the long-term development of the function or Business Unit.
Manage design and consultant teams collaboratively to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
Lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project KPIs.
Actively network, innovate, and seek best practice, utilising Mace Group's knowledge resources.

Qualifications and Experience

Demonstrated senior project management experience leading complex golf course or landscape-led packages.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and specialist contractors in live delivery environments.
Strong track record in course construction, earthworks, shaping, irrigation, drainage, turf establishment, agronomy coordination, water management, landscape delivery, procurement support, contract administration, and executive reporting.
Experience managing design-to-construction interfaces, grow-in strategy, clubhouse and facilities interfaces, maintenance facility readiness, operational transition, commissioning, and closeout is preferred.
Significant golf course project management experience.
Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors.
