About the Role

Afaq Q Tech General Trading is seeking a Vendor Operations Associate – Strategic Initiatives to join the MENA Grocery team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on building new business and optimizing vendor operations within an innovative and high-impact business environment.

Role Overview

The Vendor Operations team guides and supports vendors to ensure a seamless experience with Amazon’s systems. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist vendors in optimizing their operations on the Amazon platform, helping them become proficient in using Amazon tools, and providing hands-on support for tasks such as purchase order (PO) management and shipment coordination. This role is critical in improving operational performance metrics, managing inventory levels, and enhancing overall vendor performance.

Key Responsibilities

Assist vendors in becoming proficient with Amazon tools and provide ongoing operational support, including PO management and shipment tracking.
Provide training on catalog content population and procurement processes.
Interact directly with vendors, manufacturers, and customers to resolve operational issues and improve performance.
Drive process improvement initiatives and actively participate in stakeholder meetings.
Collaborate with internal teams, including in-stock managers, vendor managers, program managers, and fulfillment partners, to enhance vendor performance and operational metrics.
Take ownership of operational challenges, analyze data, identify and correct errors, and implement corrective actions.
Source store-level pricing and promotions from vendors and execute them using internal tools.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), or experience in MS Office including Excel.
Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication.
Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company.
Experience working with large, complex data sets.
Knowledge of SQL.
Experience with procurement processes such as placing POs, managing lead times, and vendor coordination is desirable.
