We are seeking a Full-time Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose and Contribution

This role is responsible for managing daily accounting activities, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable. The Accounts Payable Accountant ensures that invoices, vendor balances, and payments are recorded accurately and processed on time. The position also supports month-end and year-end closing processes and ensures adherence to company policies and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records, primarily for Accounts Payable, vendor balances, and related General Ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post Accounts Payable journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Reconcile vendor accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany balances on a monthly basis.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, with a specific focus on Accounts Payable reconciliations and accruals.
• Prepare and submit accurate VAT filings, ensuring all Accounts Payable transactions comply with ZATCA guidelines.
• Monitor Accounts Payable aging, outstanding vendor balances, and payments, collaborating with internal teams to resolve any issues.
• Maintain fixed asset records, ensuring proper capitalization and depreciation.
• Support external audits and internal reviews by providing Accounts Payable records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in an accounting role, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable.
