Position Summary

The Allergan Aesthetics Medical Science Liaison (Saudi National) is a full-time, non-promotional role based in Riyadh. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external customers to provide comprehensive medical and scientific support for Allergan initiatives within assigned therapeutic areas. The role involves executing the Medical Affairs plan for Saudi Arabia and the MEA region, delivering scientific education and training across the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio, and serving as a medical resource for stakeholders. The primary focus is to provide Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) with fair and balanced scientific information.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform field visits with key physicians and stakeholders.
• Organize and facilitate advisory board meetings.
• Facilitate clinical trials and related research activities.
• Provide scientific education and training initiatives for HCPs regarding current and future therapies.
• Develop and maintain expertise in the therapy area and current/upcoming Medical Aesthetics portfolios.
• Identify, develop, and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Lead scientific exchange with HCPs and advise cross-functional teams on future medical activities.
• Advise on brand strategy and contribute to tactical planning in collaboration with the marketing department.
• Contribute to the overall competency of Medical Affairs, including technical aspects.
• Contribute to medical-marketing messaging and approval procedures.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: 2-5 years in a relevant field.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.
• Strong understanding of medical and scientific support functions.
• Capability to provide fair and balanced scientific information to Healthcare Professionals.
• Proficiency in business planning and internal/external training delivery.

Work Environment

This role operates within the Medical Affairs department, working closely with other Allergan personnel to ensure the information, education, and research needs of healthcare professionals are met. The position also involves identifying and meeting the scientific and technical training needs of commercial organizations. The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires engagement across the MEA region.
