Area Sales Manager (Traditional Trade)

About the Role

Almarai is seeking an Area Sales Manager to oversee and manage van sales operations across assigned territories in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on achieving budgeted volume and margin targets for Almarai products through continuous monitoring and review of team performance. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the performance of Sales Supervisors to ensure all areas achieve targeted volume and margin.
• Achieve budgeted volume and margin for Fresh, Foods, Juice, and UHT products to meet company profit targets.
• Attain weekly distribution targets across all trade channels, adhering to the recommended product portfolio to optimize sales and increase market share.
• Monitor and ensure product orders align with market demand to control wastage and optimize sales.
• Ensure all customers comply with the company's credit policy to prevent financial losses.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 4+ years of experience in FMCG sales management.
• Proven experience in leading large teams and working as a sales sector manager.
• Familiarity with the Traditional Trade Channel.

Required Skills

• Ability to structure plans for Sales Supervisors to achieve their targets.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and experience handling high volumes of numerical data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
