About the Opportunity

Fitch Ratings is seeking an Associate Director BRM FI to join its Financial Institutions (FI) Business Relationship Management (BRM) team. This full-time position is based in the company's Saudi office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and reports directly to the Head of FI, Middle East.

Role Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to originate new rating mandates and to manage and expand relationships within the FI team. The focus will be on Middle East issuers and the broader Financial Institutions group, contributing to the team's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new rating mandates, with an initial focus on Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region.
  • Support business growth initiatives across the broader EMEA region.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new prospects and engage proactively with new issuers and other internal and external stakeholders throughout the onboarding process.
  • Develop persuasive pitchbooks and business development materials, and propose new marketing ideas to support outreach efforts.
  • Organize and conduct client meetings and other external engagements.
  • Participate in and, at times, lead broader EMEA FI team projects.
  • Represent Fitch Ratings at industry events and conferences.
  • Build and expand a professional network of capital markets participants.
  • Utilize the Customer Relationship Management system (SalesForce) for recording outreach activity, managing opportunities, creating agreements, and overseeing renewals.

Candidate Profile and Experience

Candidates should possess over 10 years of relevant experience. The role requires an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and punctual in task completion. A proactive approach, high level of initiative, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential for success in this position.
